During these difficult times, all sports clubs are required by the Government’s Health and Saftey Executive to provide a safe playing and spectating environment and keep records of who has attended an event. We must be able to demonstrate that we have taken measures to ensure that anyone entering the site does not show any symptoms of COVID 19 and know who to contact after each event for the purposes of TEST and TRACE.
The COVID pandemic protocols for Oxford Mini and Junior to Pitch Up For Rugby on Sunday September 13th are:
EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE UNDERTAKEN A PERSONAL RISK ASSESSMENT FOR THE SYMPTOMS OF COVID 19 BEFORE COMING TO THE CLUB. IF IN DOUBT DO NOT COME TO THE SESSION.
ONLY IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS OR GUARDIANS FROM THE SAME HOUSEHOLD SHOULD ACCOMPANY THE PLAYER.
THE COACHING STAFF OF EACH TEAM WILL KEEP AN ACCURATE REGISTER OF PARTICIPATING PLAYERS. WE WILL THEN ASSUME IF THERE IS A CASE OF COVID THAT WE WILL PASS FORWARD THE CONTACT DETAILS OF THE PARTICIPANTS HENCE THEIR PARENTS FROM THAT PITCH.
IF YOUR CONTACT DETAILS HAVE CHANGED SINCE LAST SEASON PLEASE TELL YOUR COACH.
SPECTATORS MUST SOCIAL DISTANCE ON THE SIDE OF THE PITCH.
Staggered start times: U6 - U10 arrive at 10:15 for a 10:30 start
U11 - U16 arrive at 9:45 for a 10:00 start
Training will finish between 11:30 and 12:00 and teams will take a break every 15 minutes to sanitise equipment. During this time players will social distance.
Car Parking: Only Coaches and Club Officials will use the Main Car Park
All Parents and Players will use the top grassed car park
The lane will be monitored by a volunteer. Please do not abuse them or try and sneak in.
Pitch Location: Under 15 and 16’s will share the Main Pitch
Under 13 and 14’s will share the Pitch 3 next to the Car Park
Under 12’s will use St Peters
Under 6 - 11 will use Pitch 2 next to the main pitch.
On Arrival: Players should go immediately to their pitch and not congregate in small groups.
Players and spectators should give their names to their coach.
The coaches will be adhering to RFU guidelines for COVID safety
Toilets: Players Under 13 - Under 16 will use the main changing room toilets.
Players Under 11 and 12 will use the side door of St Peters.
Players Under 6 - Under 10 will use the side door of the clubhouse. These players
should be taken by their parents.
Parents and spectators will use the toilets in the clubhouse which are signposted.
Refreshments: Refreshments will be served from the window of the Nomads 1909 Coffee and Can Bar. All customers should social distance whilst waiting to be served. We will be offering a full service of hot rolls and drinks.
Once served customers should move to a suitable distance from the club. If the patio tables are used then customers should social distance.
Waterbottles - players must bring their own bottle and NOT share with others. Water bottles can be filled using the taps by the main changing rooms.
First Aid - in the event of an accident the players will be dealt with by the first aider. They will have been issued with PPE. As a parent, if needed the first aider will beckon you over otherwise please stay off the playing surface.
NO-ONE IS ALLOWED IN THE CLUBHOUSE.
