Sheriff of Oxford Dick Wolf and ORFC President Martin Walsh cut the ribbon to open the latest clubhouse renovations.
Club Chair John Brodley thanked the RFU and Oxfordshire RFU for their financial support before outlining the vision for the club for the next 5 years in the club's development as a Community Club with RUGBY at its heart. Present were Oxford Archers, Oxford Sports Tennis and Cumnor Minors Football who are all users of the site. Oxfordshire RFU Chair and President Pete Bramley responded commenting that the club has a 'fresh and light feel' to it.
The final act was for councillor and Oxford Sheriff Dick Wolf to declare the building open and sample a pint of Guinness.
Oxford RFC would like to thanks all their guests who made a mammoth effort to beat the rain and support their club.
